A slice of heaven

A little over eight acres on a hill, facing a mountain the locals call Duncan Peak — about ninety minutes from San Francisco.

The Estate

A small vineyard, an old olive grove, and endless vistas

Arinesa keeps a small vineyard of two estate varietals — Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Noir — and a grove of more than forty mature olive trees. Each spring the lavender patch blooms beside the bright green of bud-breaking vines, and the hillside is lit with wildflowers.

A dozen kinds of birds visit by day — goldfinches, bluebirds, woodpeckers, red-shouldered hawks, wild turkeys — while owls, foxes, and deer come by night. In late summer the estate gathers for two grape harvests, and every late fall an olive harvest is pressed into oil at a local mill, each closing with a long dinner among family and friends.
